Deep Listening

DEEP LISTENING is a workshop introducing Pauline Oliveros’ Deep Listening® practices which explore the difference between the involuntary nature of hearing and the voluntary, selective nature of listening.

This workshop is open to all with no previous experience or musical training needed, just a willingness to participate.

The workshop will be led by Björn Eriksson, certified Deep Listening instructor who studied directly with Pauline Oliveros, together with Lina Enqvist, co-founder of Lumen Project.

When: 27 November 15-18

WHERE: ERIC ERICSONHALLEN (we may also go outside, if the weather allows for it)
HOW MUCH: 150 SEK (including fika)

Glo

Lumen Project is hosting the Great Learning Orchestra (GLO), which is celebrating 20 years as an ensemble playing experimental music. Together with a choir, GLO will perform pieces inspired by the work of Pauline Oliveros and a specially-composed piece by Ida Lundén.

When: 27 November 19.30-21

Where: Eric Ericsonhallen

This event is FREE OF CHARGE. When entering Eric Ericsonhallen, please turn off / silence your phone and remove your shoes if you wish.

These events are part of Lumen Project's ongoing collaboration with the Eric Ericson International Choral Centre. Our goal is to bring a sense of magic + sanctuary to the frenetic, sometimes disjointed, world in which we live.
